Until the last decade or so, most Chicago fauna was either in dark alleys or chittering away in a tree. But since then, we’ve grown used to the idea we’re sharing our urban spaces with coyotes, deer, hawks, possum, skunks, and more. By numbers squirrels might still be dominant (we hope), but the zoo Lincoln Park Zoo isn’t the only place to find a wild kingdom in the city.
